We are proud to announce that the Grand Soleil 40 is among the candidates for the prestigious European Yacht of the Year award in the Performance Cruiser category. Our heartfelt thanks go to the entire team that followed this ambitious project.
The new Grand Soleil 40 indeed has all it takes to replicate the great success of its older sister, the GS 44, winner of the last two ORC World Championships, while maintaining the unchanged family feeling of the range, including elegance, ergonomics, and safety. The Grand Soleil 40, which will have its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022, is indeed a high-performance, fast, and responsive boat with a strong sporting personality.
The naval architecture of the new GS40, designed by Matteo Polli, maintains a strong focus on performance, but without sacrificing volume for space and comfort on board. This project is indeed the result of a synergy between Nauta Design for the interior and exterior design and the Cantiere del Pardo Technical Office, which made it possible to bring to the water a boat with clean and functional layouts in both internal and external areas.
