The Grand Soleil Vintage Cup 2026 brought together owners and crews on June 13th and 14th in the stunning setting of Portopiccolo, overlooking the Adriatic, for a weekend dedicated to sailing and conviviality. After Friday's welcome, featuring the handout of crew bags and official shirts, the day concluded with the Welcome Party on the DNS terrace, amid excellent food, music, and plenty of opportunities to connect.
On Saturday, despite a long wait out on the race course, the lack of wind forced the cancellation of the race. The evening, however, continued in the best possible way with the Crew Party at the seafront Green restaurant, once again confirming the great sense of community that defines this event. On Sunday the wind finally arrived, allowing for a fine sail in conditions that were light but sufficient to ensure a compelling race.
Upon returning, the awards ceremony took place, with special recognition for the winners of this edition. Congratulations to all the winners and to all the crews who took part with enthusiasm and great sportsmanship. Heartfelt thanks go to all the owners, to the Diporto Nautico Sistiana, the Yacht Club Portopiccolo, the sponsors, and the local institutions that contributed to the success of the event.
Thanks to everyone who, year after year, continues to make the Grand Soleil Vintage Cup a special occasion for the heritage Grand Soleil community. More than just a regatta, the Grand Soleil Vintage Cup is a tribute to the boats that have marked the brand's history, celebrating their timeless design and value, as well as the passion of those who continue to sail them.
