L'arte sartoriale delle lunghe navigazioni

The "haute couture" expression of Blue Water sailing, created to measure in our Fano atelier.

The sartorial art of ocean cruising

The Grand Soleil 65 Plus is not simply a yacht, but the incarnation of a vision. It is the ultimate expression of the Grand Soleil Plus "haute couture" philosophy, where the apex of Cantiere del Pardo's production meets the unique interpretation of a specific vocation: that of the "Long Cruise". Conceived and built entirely in the Fano atelier, dedicated exclusively to custom models over 60 feet, this 65-footer translates the client's desires into a sartorial work.
It is a refined floating residence, designed for the freedom of long-range sailing and oceanic autonomy, capable of offering absolute comfort without ever sacrificing elegance. This yacht is the result of an exclusive dialogue between the owner and the shipyard, where the naval architecture of Matteo Polli and the design of Nauta Design merge to give shape to a desire: a performant, safe and stable hull in every condition, combined with volumes conceived for permanent liveability. It is a superior synthesis, where the seaworthiness of a blue water cruiser meets the sophisticated luxury of a bespoke villa.

We have given shape to a vision. An "haute couture" space to experience the world, where luxury is not ostentation, but the absolute freedom of boundless comfort.

Naval architecture for exploration

Seaworthiness, safety and style: the aesthetics of long-distance cruising.

The aesthetic of the Grand Soleil 65 Plus, in the Long Cruise interpretation, is the direct consequence of its function: to be a safe and efficient home for crossing oceans. The naval architecture, signed by Matteo Polli, is a work of maritime engineering designed for comfort over long distances and self-sufficiency. The hull features a pronounced bow "V", designed to cut through the wave smoothly and reduce pitching, guaranteeing comfortable and dry sailing. The reduced wetted surface and great dynamic stability, inherited from the Grand Soleil DNA, translate into superior efficiency and brilliant performance even in light winds. This is not just a cruising yacht, but a performant sailing boat, capable of covering great distances in total safety. The powerful structures, engineered by Marco Lostuzzi and built 100% in-house in the Fano atelier with extensive use of carbon reinforcements, ensure exceptional torsional rigidity, essential for facing a formed sea with absolute confidence.

The comfort of a protected and intelligent deck

The "raised saloon" architecture at the service of life on board.

The deck plan of the Grand Soleil 65 Plus, conceived by Nauta Design for this specific offshore vocation, is a masterpiece of "step-free" ergonomics, designed for freedom of movement in total safety. The focal point is the "raised saloon" architecture: a raised coachroof that not only defines the iconic profile of the yacht, but creates a deep, protected and dry cockpit, ideal for long passages. The generous 270° windows of the coachroof flood the interiors with light, creating a continuous visual connection with the sea. The ergonomics are designed for "easy sailing" even with a reduced crew; the self-tacking jib as standard and the optimised arrangement of lines bear witness to a project born to be managed independently. The twin helms guarantee perfect visibility, while the relaxation areas are worthy of a superyacht: the spacious convivial cockpit becomes an open-air saloon, while the generous sunbathing areas offer spaces of absolute privacy.

The panoramic dimension of living

Stepping aboard the Grand Soleil 65 Plus means experiencing a new dimension of life at sea, conceived for comfort during extended stays. The interior design masterfully exploits the raised saloon architecture: the dinette is positioned at a higher level, offering a 270° panoramic view of the horizon. This architectural choice, signed by Nauta Design, is not merely aesthetic but profoundly functional. It allows the engine room to be housed directly beneath the dinette, thereby freeing up the entire, generous beam of the hull aft. The result is a unique optimisation of space: this 65-footer can accommodate two exceptionally spacious aft cabins, true suites. The galley, positioned amidships, integrates into a single, large open-plan space. But this is only the beginning. In line with the "Plus" philosophy, every detail is a blank canvas. The client is invited into a direct dialogue with the Fano atelier to shape the interiors: from the choice of precious woods to marbles, from high-end fabrics to the very configuration of the cabins, to create a true "haute couture" residence.

The distinctive features of the 65 Plus

The technical and design solutions that define the Long Cruise vocation.

The Raised Saloon advantage: views and volumes

The Raised Saloon advantage: views and volumes

The heart of the project is the raised coachroof. This solution not only offers a 270° panoramic view from the dinette, but positions the engine room directly beneath the saloon, acoustically and thermally isolating it from the sleeping areas for absolute comfort.
Revolutionary spaces: the two aft suites

Revolutionary spaces: the two aft suites

A direct consequence of the raised saloon is the revolution of the aft layout. The absence of the technical compartment between the cabins, moved beneath the dinette, allows the entire maximum beam to be exploited to create two extraordinarily spacious, bright and quiet aft suites.
Blue Water hull: comfort on the wave

Blue Water hull: comfort on the wave

The hull designed by Matteo Polli is optimised for long distances. The pronounced bow V ensures a smooth and dry passage over the wave, while the dynamic stability and reduced wetted surface guarantee efficiency, high performance and safety.
"Easy Sailing" ergonomics of the 65

"Easy Sailing" ergonomics of the 65

Designed to be handled with ease even by a reduced crew. The step-free deck guarantees safety and agility, while the self-tacking jib as standard and the rational arrangement of all lines make sailing intuitive.
Robust and sustainable construction

Robust and sustainable construction

The structure, built with vinyl ester resin infusion and carbon reinforcements, ensures lightness and rigidity. The "Green Waves" soul is expressed in low-impact materials: sustainable teak, linen lamination and ecological resins, and solar panels.
