The exterior design of the Grand Soleil 65 Plus is the aesthetic translation of its impulse towards speed. The Fano atelier has sculpted waterlines that flee from every compromise, optimised for superior hydrodynamic efficiency. Compared to other interpretations, the deck profile here is defined by a low, sleek, almost aggressive coachroof, which reduces aerodynamic drag and lowers the centre of gravity. The underwater hull is a masterpiece of naval engineering, with a pronounced V at the bow that cuts through the wave and a minimised wetted surface to reduce drag. This translates into swift acceleration and immediate helm responsiveness, even in light breezes. Construction is the heart of this performance: the hull, laminated 100% in-house, uses a vacuum infusion process with vinyl ester resin and unidirectional carbon fabrics. This advanced technique guarantees a monolithic structure, exceptionally rigid and lightweight, that transmits every single sensation, from wind to waves, directly to the helmsman, for absolute control.

The deck of the Grand Soleil 65 Plus is a masterpiece of functional ergonomics, designed for the owner who experiences sailing actively. The 'Performance' soul of this yacht is expressed in a clean, essential, flush deck layout, where every manoeuvre is intuitive and immediate. Wide walkways free from obstructions ensure quick and safe movement. The cockpit is the nerve centre of control: the twin helms offer perfect visibility over the sails and the wave, with all primary controls led back within the helmsman's reach. This configuration, borrowed from racing boats, allows reactive and precise handling. At the same time, the guest area is conceived as an oasis of relaxation, a true lounge on the sea, protected and separated from the manoeuvring zones, where one can enjoy sailing in absolute comfort without ever interfering with the art of helming.

The dialogue between the owner and the Fano atelier is the heart of the project: every wood, every fabric, every finish is the result of a shared choice, aimed at creating an environment that is an intimate refuge and an expression of total comfort. The Performance version introduces an intelligent redesign of volumes: the lowered saloon creates a more harmonious flow towards the cabins, while the galley, moved laterally aft, frees up the more noble central area. This layout maximises the perception of space, flooded with light from the large hull windows, which enhance the artisan mastery of the finishes.
