L'orizzonte su misura

The "haute couture" interpretation of the Long Cruise vocation, created in our Fano atelier.

Grand Soleil 72 Plus: the bespoke horizon

The Grand Soleil 72 Plus is not simply a yacht; it is the incarnation of a vocation. It is the sartorial response, forged in the Grand Soleil Plus atelier in Fano, to the vision of an owner who desires the freedom of ocean sailing without sacrificing the comfort of a luxury residence. This 72-footer is the apex of the Plus philosophy: a one-of-a-kind work, 100% in-house, that interprets offshore cruising (Long Cruise) not as a category, but as a personal attitude. The naval architecture has been conceived for self-sufficiency and absolute seaworthiness, guaranteeing smooth passages over the wave and safety in every condition. Its distinctive signature, the "raised saloon", is not a stylistic conceit, but the fulcrum of a project that redefines volumes, flooding the panoramic dinette with light while simultaneously creating technical spaces below worthy of a superyacht. It is a dialogue between artisan mastery and desire, a custom-made masterpiece for those who conceive exploration as the highest form of comfort.

01 - 05

It is not built for an owner. It is built around their vocation. It is a dialogue between our mastery and their desire for speed. Every carbon fibre, every waterline is the answer to a single question: how to make it faster, more responsive, more alive?

Lines of excellence for the offshore vocation

The aesthetics of exploration: safety, seaworthiness and unmistakable style.

The aesthetic of the Grand Soleil 72 Plus is the direct consequence of its vocation: ocean sailing. The exterior lines, powerful and flowing, are the result of careful hydrodynamic research signed by Matteo Polli, optimised to guarantee smooth passages over the wave, stability and superior comfort during long "blue water" passages. There is no concession to style that is not also functional to safety and seaworthiness. The "raised saloon" coachroof, a distinctive element of this interpretation, integrates harmoniously into the profile, offering protection to the cockpit and an unrivalled panoramic view from the interior. This design choice floods the interiors with natural light, defining a superyacht-level visual and living comfort. The naval architecture and sail plan are balanced for safe, responsive sailing manageable even with a reduced crew, ensuring high performance. The infusion construction, 100% in-house, with advanced composites, guarantees the structural solidity that is an indispensable prerequisite for facing the ocean.

Living the sea in absolute comfort and safety

Protected areas, "Easy Sailing" ergonomics and volumes designed for long passages.

The deck of the Grand Soleil 72 Plus is a masterpiece of ergonomics and design, conceived as an exclusive and safe platform in every condition. The "Long Cruise" vocation is expressed in a deep cockpit, protected by wraparound coamings that create an oasis of comfort and safety even on demanding passages. The intelligent lateral repositioning of the companionway maximises liveability, drawing a generous C-shaped convivial area and preserving the two magnificent aft sunbathing platforms, a distinctive feature of the model. Everything is designed for "Easy Sailing": the lines are led back to the helm stations, ergonomic and with full visibility, allowing safe management of the yacht even with a reduced crew. The flush walkways are wide and free from obstructions. The deck of the GS 72 Plus is a versatile platform: a protected lounge to enjoy sailing, a terrace on the sea for moments at anchor and an efficient command post for facing the ocean.

Visual

A private residence on the ocean

Superyacht volumes and "haute couture" finishes for long-term liveability.

Stepping below deck on the Grand Soleil 72 Plus means entering a dimension of private luxury, where space and light define the apex of the Long Cruise vocation. The design intuition of the raised dinette (raised saloon) transforms the saloon into the beating heart of the yacht: a panoramic lounge with a 270° view of the horizon, where the perception of space is amplified to superyacht levels. This strategic choice has also allowed the systems to be relocated to a dedicated technical area beneath the sole, freeing up living volumes and guaranteeing absolute acoustic comfort. The interiors, curated by Nauta Design, are defined as "haute couture" because they are born from a blank canvas, in direct dialogue with the owner in the Fano atelier. Precious woods, leathers and exclusive fabrics are selected to reflect a unique vision. The layout options, with a galley aft or forward and different cabin configurations, are designed with ocean-going ergonomics and stowage capacity in mind, conceived for experiencing the sea as a continuous journey.

"Raised Saloon" architecture

"Raised Saloon" architecture

The heart of the project: the raised coachroof houses a 270° glazing that floods the saloon with light. The entire dinette is elevated, offering a constant visual connection with the sea and a perception of internal volumes worthy of a superyacht. A solution that unites aesthetics, luminosity and an unrivalled living comfort.
'Light-Tech' carbon construction

'Light-Tech' carbon construction

Hull in epoxy infusion with hybrid fabrics and unidirectional carbon structural reinforcements. An 'in-house' construction technology from Fano for maximum rigidity, lightness and a reactive helm response.
Autonomy and Self-sufficiency

Autonomy and Self-sufficiency

Designed to be an independent villa on the ocean. The GS 72 Plus integrates advanced energy systems, generous stowage capacity and large tanks (over 1,200L fuel, 1,150L water) to guarantee maximum self-sufficiency. The relocation of the systems beneath the dinette optimises weight distribution and facilitates maintenance.
Ocean Volumes and Stowage

Ocean Volumes and Stowage

Thanks to the "raised saloon" and a sartorial optimisation of spaces, the GS 72 Plus offers exceptional stowage volumes, indispensable for extended stays on board. Every cabin, the galley and the technical areas have been designed to maximise load capacity, guaranteeing order and comfort during ocean passages.
