GRAND SOLEIL CUP 2025: RELIVE THE HIGHLIGHTS!

A spectacular start for the Grand Soleil Cup 2025: the first leg has officially wrapped up in Cala Galera, from May 23rd to 25th, in collaboration with the Circolo Nautico e della Vela Argentario and the Marina di Cala Galera.

Around 40 Grand Soleil yachts took part in this opening event, confirming the international spirit of the regatta, with owners and crews coming from Italy, France, the Netherlands, Canada, Australia, and Japan.

The weekend kicked off with a welcome cocktail on the CNVA terrace, followed on Saturday by a coastal sail towards Giannutri with winds building up to 20 knots. On Sunday, ideal conditions allowed for a technical race around the buoys. The event wrapped up with an award ceremony and a celebratory toast on the dock.

The overall winner was Luduan 2.0, a Grand Soleil 48 owned by Enrico De Crescenzo, who took first place in the All Sails category. The spotlight was also on the new LINEA PLUS, represented on the water by four of the most recent and innovative models in the range—proof of Cantiere del Pardo’s ongoing commitment to product evolution.

A heartfelt thank you to all the owners, crews, and main sponsors for making this first leg of the Grand Soleil Cup 2025 truly special.

A weekend of sailing and passion lit up the Adriatic Sea from June 13 to 15, as the second leg of the Grand Soleil Cup 2025 brought the vibrant spirit of Cantiere del Pardo to Portopiccolo. It was an edition to remember: 43 boats on the starting line, setting an all-time record for the Adriatic, and bringing the total Grand Soleil fleet for 2025 to 83 yachts across the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic seas.

Stealing the spotlight was ATHYRIS, a Grand Soleil 48 Race helmed by Sergio Taccheo, claiming overall victory both in real time and on corrected time. Joining him on the podium were FOREVER (GS58) and VOLARE (GS44 Race), the latter already crowned “Boat of the Year.”

On the water, light winds and scenic coastal courses delivered thrilling racing. On land, the atmosphere was equally vibrant—from sunset aperitifs on the terrace to a festive night at Duchis Maris, in the beating heart of Portopiccolo.

There was great anticipation for the official debut of the new GS52s: BLACK PEKOE III (Race version) by Ernesto Folli and ALBATROSS (Performance version) by Alberto Cocchi—both also honored with special awards.

An event that celebrated not only performance, but the Grand Soleil spirit in all its forms: from the newest boats to the most historic, and crews with the strongest female presence.

Cantiere del Pardo extends heartfelt thanks to all owners, crews, partners and sponsors for making this leg of the Grand Soleil Cup 2025 truly unforgettable.
