THE GRAND SOLEIL 42 LONG CRUISE
Designed for the “Blue Water” world, the Long Cruise range offers exceptional comfort and a delightful onboard experience, without compromising on performance and safety. The spacious volumes ensure a high level of comfort, while maintaining top-notch safety standards. The Grand Soleil 42 LC is available in two versions: one with a classic rollbar to maximize the deck space for living, and a sportier version without a rollbar or aft benches.
EXPERIENCE THE SEA WITH THE LONG CRUISE RANGE
The Grand Soleil 42 Long Cruise is a product of collaboration between naval architect Marco Lostuzzi, Nauta Design for the interiors and exteriors, and the technical department of Cantiere del Pardo. This yacht redefines long distance sailing with its exceptional comfort, spacious onboard areas, and remarkable autonomy in navigation. These are the defining features that set this vessel apart from the rest.
PERFORMANCE AND STABLE SHAPES
Thanks to its increased hull volume, the GS 42 LC offers exceptional stability. The well-proportioned sail plan maximizes high-performance sailing standards, ensuring an unforgettable sailing experience. Like the rest of the Long Cruise range, the Grand Soleil 42 LC is designed to offer unparalleled comfort and luxury on board, providing an extraordinary yachting experience.
All maneuvering are arranged below deck at the helmsman’s station, where it is possible to choose whether or not to have dedicated seating. When dedicated seats are present, a natural storage space is also created. The two winches on each side (electric as an option) positioned near the two helm wheels make long sailing trips easy and pleasant, even with a smaller crew. Maneuvering is also simplified by the furling mainsail in the mast (opt) and the self-tacking jib with hanging rail (std). The carbon rollbar, when present, frees the large cockpit from clutter, leaving space for complete relaxation and also acts as a support for the bimini and sprayhood.

STYLISH DESIGN TRAITS
Two interior layouts are offered for the Grand Soleil 42 LC, a standard three-cabin configuration and an optional two-cabin layout, providing flexibility to meet different owner requirements. Both layouts feature two bathrooms with shower stalls. On the right side of the saloon there is a three-seat sofa, of which the central seat can become a chart table. The galley is designed to provide maximum comfort and ample storage space.Below deck, everything is designed for maximum comfort worthy of a long cruise boat. Large windows give the interior a light and airy feel. Attention to detail and a well thought-out layout create the perfect atmosphere for a long cruise. The owner’s cabin has been designed to provide maximum stowage: 3 lockers 2 drawers under the bed, lockers and bookcases at the sides of the bed and a large wardrobe. The layout of the boat includes three cabins, with the master cabin and two aft guest cabins featuring double beds. However, in the two-cabin version (optional), the starboard aft cabin is designed with two single beds arranged in a V-shape.
